25 Things I‘ve learned in 2025
A Short Summary.
These were originally part of my Advent Calendar series, but I wanted to share them together here as well, especially for anyone who didn’t get a chance to see them.
Just do it. Literally.
(Please do the thing you thought of while reading this.)
Closed mouths don’t get fed.
If you want something, ask. You would be surprised what is possible.
Not everyone needs to know everything you.
Choose wisely what you want to share and what not.
Learn to know what you want. And how to get it.
Clarity is a skill. The rest is strategy.
Creating > Consuming.
No matter if it is small or large. But having a form of expression is extremely important for your soul.
Just keep learning.
Food for thought is as important as food for the body.
Learn when and how to use perfectionism.
You can use it as a tool, not as a lifestyle.
Swap “Why is this happening to me?” for “What is this teaching me?”
Sometimes a change in perspective is all you need.
Actions > Words.
This can not only be applied to others, but to yourself as well.
Discomfort is often a sign, not a sentence.
If something in your life feels heavy, you are allowed to adjust it instead of changing it.
We often admire the things which we cannot fully grasp.
Some things are beautiful, because a part of it lies hidden in the shadows.
Fear loses power when you walk through it.
Not forever. Just long enough to change something.
Adaptability means more than “just fitting in.”
In a world that never stops shifting, smart is a luxury good.
Life is a game, not a competition.
Changing your perception of life can change the way you think and act upon it.
You become what you’re exposed to.
But you can choose (to a certain degree) what you are exposed to and what you are exposing yourself to.
Inspiration meets you halfway.
It finds the people who are moving, not waiting.
Slow progress isn’t failure.
Just because some things take longer than expected doesn’t mean that they are not worth the wait.
Your taste is a compass. Listen to it.
What you’re drawn to is already pointing toward who you are.
Growth doesn’t always look like becoming more.
Sometimes it looks like becoming softer, quieter, or less impressed by the wrong things.
You might be thinking about yourself too much.
Know when you need to take a break.
Emotions are a temporary compass.
They can point to what you value, even when you don’t consciously realize it.
Rest is part of the journey.
Plan according to your own needs to make sure your glass is (and stays) full.
Small joys matter more in the long run than big achievements.
A tiny spark of daily joy can outshine a single great achievement.
Pay attention to what feels like “home.”
Life happens with the people and places where you can simply be.
You’re allowed to begin again.
Every ending carries its own invitation for a new beginning.

I love these! 🥰
Most of life isn’t missing knowledge it’s missing action.
We already know enough; what changes everything is doing the obvious, consistently.
